Relief & Aid work

Whilst at Avient, Andrew Smith was instrumental in developing partnerships with world aid agencies.

Avient was the first airline to provide relief to the 2004 Tsunami. Operating on behalf of the British Government, Avient flew daily flights with tents and supplies using two L-1011’s.

Avient also flew aid into Haiti and operated for numerous food agencies.
